The Fig Tree Half Marathon or 10km races were introduced in 2021. It starts and finishes at the lake Morris kiosk on Lake Morris Rd, Cairns. The half marathon follows a route from the Lake Morris kiosk, across the dam wall and along Clohesy River Rd to a turnaround point at the Fig Tree. The 10km runners turn around at the first creek crossing.
